I’m Lou Panetta, and I’m here to help. Let’s take some steps together…

I have been an educator for 30 years and have lived in five different countries. I was fortunate to meet my life partner in Istanbul, where the first of our two children was born. Our family journey through a few European countries has taught us many things, especially patience.

As a teacher, I specialized in biology, health, and life skills, and coached students to develop strategies for further education and career planning. My experience in the classroom helped me to realize that with preparation, people will walk with confidence through an open door, and address challenges with greater success.

As a parent and member of an LGBTQ family, I have experienced many personal and family life transitions, and have a good understanding of what it’s like to become the person you were meant to be with the support of those around you. Although I am happy to continue to serve as a career transition coach, I am eager to extend my support to those who are looking for courage in a sexuality or gender identity transition, either personally, or within their family.

There are no rules for life transitions, but one thing I’ve learned is that there’s always somebody out there who has had a similar experience and who can offer help.

Lou has a certificate in Life Coaching from Life Coach Training Institute.
